“Mariposa” (Spanish for ‘butterfly’) features a fully restored and bejewelled intake golden butterfly as its focal point. Impressionistic ‘wings’ of black-washed gold braid flow outwards and embossed floral accents surrounding a large pink rhinestone are centred to each side and below the butterfly. The eyes are outlined with miniature black and AB rhinestones and a further eye-catching sparkle has been created with drapes of AB rhinestones across the forehead. The embossed scalloped finish to the bottom edge and the placement of tiny moonstones provide a visually satisfying finishing touch.
