Carrying the title of “Zirka” (Ukranian for ‘Star’), this mask has been covered with a beautiful dark blue beaded and sequinned lace and a complementary silver glitter jersey.
Pearl beading, silvered rhinestones, beading and cord have been used for all edgings and transparent verglas shapes rise out of the tiara. Silver-glittered branches add further interest. The centrepiece has been created from reconstructed vintage jewellery and pearl braiding. A black ruffle with hand- glittered edging frames the lower part of the face with tassels suspended from selected peaks. Dark red roses provide a contrastingly warm finishing touch of colour.
As with all my work, ‘Zirka” is a one-off unique creation, has been designed purely as a decor piece, and comes with certification of artistic and creative authenticity.
